If you’ve watched any Premier League soccer over the past couple of years, then you’re probably familiar with Demba Ba.
The Senegalese forward played for Newcastle, West Ham, and even Chelsea during his stint in England’s top league. Ba, like an increasing amount of soccer players, is now playing in the Chinese Super League for huge money.
Over the weekend Ba was playing in a match for his team Shanghai Shenhua when this happened.
(If you don’t like watching injuries turn away now.)

His leg completely snapped in half, with only a couple of muscles/ligaments keeping his leg together. This is one of the most horrific injuries I’ve ever seen in soccer and sports as a whole.
Let’s hope Ba makes a complete recovery from this terrible injury.
