After Finn Balor announced that he would have to give up his newly won Universal Championship just last week, we found out that there would be an Elimination Fatal 4 Way match between Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Big Cass to determine the new champion tonight.
I’d write up something scholarly and exquisite but HOLY HELL KEVIN OWENS JUST WON THE TITLE!
We saw Big Cass put up a great fight and really get the crowd behind him but he was the first one eliminated. After his departure, all we had left were Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens. Just as Reigns looked to be in control, Triple H jumped him and hit him with the Pedigree. This came as a huge shock because HHH hasn’t been on WWE TV since Wrestlemania.
Reigns beat HHH at Mania so it would make sense for The Game to take him out. Rollins took the 3 count on Reigns to leave only two men standing. The Game dragged Owens into the ring and was about to take him out until..

HHH PULLED OFF A PERFECT DOUBLE TURN. Seriously did not see this coming. Was hoping Owens would be given the strap but holy crap they blew my expectations out of the water.
What a match. Owens absolutely deserves the title. He’s been the most entertaining wrestler in WWE since his debut in my opinion and this was a long time coming.
KO-Mania has just begun.
