Is it November 12th yet? My mother always said “don’t wish your life away’ but I feel like an exception can be made for UFC 205 McGregor Vs. Alvarez. Madison Square Garden…New York…..for the 155lb belt. It definitely doesn’t get better than this.
If the pre fight press conference was any indication of how electric the event will be, well then… I’ll let you be the judge of that.
Q: Conor how nervous are you for 155lb division?
Seems pretty nervous as always….
Q: Conor, I know you respect your opponents a lot but you have to be scared of Eddie right?
Interesting tactic for Eddie to tell Conor to be careful.
Q: Is your shin going to play a factor in this fight?
I’m not a Ivy League guy but I’m going to take that as a hard no.
Q: Conor what are you going to do if you have the 145 and 155 lb belts?
Best answer of the whole press conference
Q: Do you guys like each other? It seems like you do?
Honestly I could go all night with these. McGregor is a walking talking machine. Spits out quotes left and right. You get the gist though. However, who would I be if I didn’t show the face-off?
Honestly, I don’t know shit about shit but I do know one thing. In that video above, McGregor is the CLEAR alpha male. If this was the primate age, McGregor would eat him alive. Come November 12th, he might just do that in the cage anyway.
One last note; UFC 200 was supposed to be the biggest fight card ever and obviously it wasn’t. 205 is though. I feel like Dana White had that planned all along. To have your biggest fight card happen at the same time as your first ever event at MSG? Yeah that’s some Vince McMahon shit right there. I mean look at this fight card…..
- Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez
- Tyron Woodley vs. Stephen Thompson
- Joanna J vs. Karolina K
- Chris Weidman vs. Yoel Romero
- Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone vs. Kelvin Gastelum
- Meisha Tate (smoke) vs. Raquel Pennington
- Frankie Edgar vs. Jeremy Stephens
Oh, and btw if that is not stacked enough, Dana White just casually dropped news that Michael Johnson vs. Khabib N was added to the card. That card is just not real life.
