Wild Card Weekend- Bets You Need to Place

This. is. how. we. do. it. La ra ra ra ra ra.. this is how we do it! After a week on the job our record currently sits at 8-2, which is not too shabby for a rookie ehh? Now we are heading into Wild Card Weekend in the NFL and we will be predicting all 4 games on the slate. I got a good feeling guys ūüôā let’s rock!

Detroit Lions vs Seattle Seahawks

Lets start with a math equation.. a weak Seattle o-line + a hobbled Russell Wilson – an injured Earl Thomas = a suspect Seahawks team.. Long story short, this not your Seahawks team of old;¬†I watched a lot of Seattle football this season (when I was hungover on my couch)¬†and they never seemed to take that big step in November and December like we are used to seeing in the past. I still think Seattle will win but not by 8-points. Let me explain with another equation.. Frat Stafford (Potential MVP Candidate) – Seattle’s swag-less defense = a 3-5 point loss for Detroit. I love the Lions to cover this spread. Lions over Seahawks.

Oakland Raiders vs Houston Texans

This is purely a gut call.. I literally have no statistics as to why I am picking the Raiders over the Texans in this AFC match-up. I just really like how the Raiders are 3.5- point underdogs and I think this will be an extremely low scoring game. For some odd reason, I could see this game being a 17-14 game with either team taking the victory. Give me the Raiders since they have a better QB in rookie Connor Cook (lol) and they have 3.5-points to give. I would also strongly consider placing a bet on the under of 37-points. Raiders over Texans & Under 37-points.

Miami Dolphins vs Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are going to score so many points in this game.. It’s extremely to difficult to walk into Pittsburgh in January and leave with a win (let alone with non-serviceable back-up QB Matt Moore). Everybody is talking about how¬†second-year player Jay Ajayi¬†ran for over 200 yards in Week 6 against the Steelers but I’m going to let you in on a little secret.. *whisper.. running backs don’t win championships, they don’t even win you games *resume normal voice. Wanna know another secret? Quarterbacks don’t win you championships either, but they do lose them for you. Matt Moore has no business stepping onto Big Ben’s home field so give me the Steelers in a blowout. Steelers over Dolphins.

New York Giants vs Green Bay Packers

This is going to be one of the best games in recent memory of Wild Card Weekend history! The 11-5 Giants take on the 10-6 Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon. Green Bay is arguably the hottest team in football as they have won 6 games in a row behind Aaron Rodgers’ MVP caliber play. That dude is a freakin’ savage and he scares me to death.. can’t believe I’m about to say this buuut.. give me the New York Football Giants! As 4.5-point dogs, I not only expect the Giants to cover but also to outright win this game. I think the New York defense has just enough edge to keep Rodgers at bay, while the offense has more than enough talent to torch the Packers secondary. I will leave you with this stat.. in the Giants past two SuperBowl seasons they lost to Green Bay in the regular season, and then went into Lambeau to eliminate the Packers in the playoffs.. this season the Giants lost to Green Bay and now head to the frozen tundra for a playoff rematch.. coincidence? No, just your “Big Buck Hunter Guarantee”.¬†Giants over Packers.¬†
