Need some good snow day TV recommendations? Well then, look no further. If you live in the Northeast, there is a good chance you are enjoying a snow day right now.

Let me just start by saying that there really isn’t a better day off from work than a snow day.  There are absolutely no expectations other than planting yourself on the couch and enjoying some good television while you delay the inevitable shoveling for as long as possible. You obviously know about The Price Is Right and Family Feud, but how are you going to fill up the rest of your TV schedule? Below are a couple of my recommendations.

Crashing

Crashing follows the life of Pete Holmes as he tries to make it as a stand up comedian while dealing with some personal issues. The show gets its title because Pete is forced to crash on other comedians couches after he and his wife split. Artie Lange, TJ Miller and Hannibal Buress have already appeared in the first four episodes. Judd Apatow is an executive producer and he directed the pilot. I feel like this show is still flying under the radar.

Love

Love was created by Judd Apatow (I’m starting to see a theme here) and is available to stream on Netflix. Now, you might be saying to yourself ‘Love sounds kind of chick-flickish.’ While let me tell you that you couldn’t be more wrong. It is funny and relatable and very easy to binge-watch. Season 2 was just released this past Friday and I flew right through all 12 episodes. Mickey is a recovery drug, alcohol and sex and love addict, and Gus is a dorky tutor. Will the two of them find love? (See what I did there?)

If you have any of your own recommendations, don’t hesitate to send them our way on Twitter. I’m always looking for good, new shows to binge the hell out of.
