We are baaaack! I’m about to make UFC 210 my bitch and continue my undefeated prediction streak since joining the Ledge (I think we are up to 3 cards in a row). But don’t mention it.. expect to everyone you know! Alright, lets back up this trash talk and get to work.
Jan Blachowicz vs Patrick Cummings
Talk about some washed up fighters!! Can’t say I fully understand this fight.. both these dudes get their shit rocked against stud fighters and then absolutely demolish weak fighters. So having these guys face off should be.. well.. interesting, to say the least. I’m going to side with Cummings in this fight because he has impressive wins over Rafeal Cavalcante and Kyle Kingsbury, whereas Blachowicz would have a tough time beating me up. Patrick Cummings -115 over Jan Blachowicz.
Daniel Cormier vs Anthony Johnson
Anthony Johnson comes in as a big favorite in this fight at-125 and I completely understand why. He’s knocked out 3 guys in a row (Jimi Manuwa, Ryan Bader, Glover Teixeira) in combined 7 minutes and 7 seconds.. that’s a baaaad man! But Cormier is a totally different animal. He is the best light-heavy weight wrestler, and boxing skills are in the upper echelon of the division. Not to mentioned his ground game has improved significantly (he submitted “Rumble” Johnson a year ago). Daniel will wrestle his way to the W and grind out a boring decision win. Daniel Cormier -105 over Anthony Johnson.
Patrick Cote vs Thiago Alves
“Pitbull” Alves is still alive?? What the heck.. I thought after getting destroyed by Carlos Condit and Jim Miller, old man Alves would have hung up the gloves. But nope! We get to see Patty Cote take “Pitbull” to the ground and pull out a dominant decision victory. Besides a recently loss to the streaking Donald Cerrone, Cote had strung together 3 victories in a row (1 decision and 2 KO’s). Big Buck Hunter KNOWS Cote will get back in the win column on Saturday. Patrick Cote -160 over Thiago Alves.
Let me know how much money you make this weekend @TheLedgeSports
