Warren Sapp’s Myles Garrett Hot Take Screams Jealousy

I want to start off by apologizing to Broncos and Raiders fans. You both have great top two receivers but your depth is ultimately what kept you off this list. Let’s see who was able to make the cut.

10) Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Projected Starters: Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, Chris Godwin.

The Bucs needed someone to stretch the field on offense, and they got one of the best in the business to do it in D-Jax. Add in the rookie Godwin from Penn State to play opposite All-Pro Mike Evans, and this team is ready to take off.

9) San Diego Chargers

Projected Starters: Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Travis Benjamin.

Between these 3, Tyrell Williams, Dontrelle Inman, Hunter Henry, Antonio Gates and Melvin Gordon.. Phillip Rivers has some serious toys to make things happen for this team.

8) Cincinnati Bengals

Projected Starters: AJ Green, Brandon LaFell, John Ross.

I’m not a very big John Ross guy to be honest. This just goes to show how far AJ can carry a WR corpse. Fun Fact: My second favorite WR on this team by far is Tyler Boyd.

7) Philadelphia Eagles

Projected Starters: Alshon Jeffery, Torrey Smith, Jordan Matthews.

So I guess we can’t say Wentz doesn’t have enough weapons… Right? These 3 guys complement each other beautifully, as long as the new guys mesh well this group could be much higher as the season goes on.

6) New England Patriots

Projected Starters: Brandon Cooks, Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan.

The addition of Cooks to this offense is going to be electric. He’s a special playmaker that going to make life even easier for Tom Brady.

5) Atlanta Falcons

Projected Starters: Julio Jones, Muhammed Sanu, Taylor Gabriel.

This is the same trio that took the NFL by storm last season, and I expect them to be even better in year 2 of them all being together. This group is obviously led by Jones who is the most talented WR we’ve seen since Randy Moss.

4) Jacksonville Jaguars

Projected Starters: Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns, Marquise Lee.

We know how incredible Allen 1 and Allen 2 are when Blake Bortles is capable of putting the ball in their general area. But Lee is the X factor here.. down the stretch last year he played the best we’ve seen him play since his USC. If he’s not capable, look for rookie Heisman finalist Dede Westbrook who will be waiting in the wings.

3) Green Bay Packers

Projected Starters: Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Davante Adams.

Yeah yeah yeah they’re really good. I’m gonna move on cause fuck them.

2) New York Giants

Projected Starters: Odell Beckham Jr, Brandon Marshall, Sterling Sheppard.

Marshall was a shell of himself last season and will look to bounce back in his first year with the Giants which I believe he will. OBJ needs to do his best to keep his head on, and if Sheppard builds off his rookie season this group will be near impossible to stop.

1) Pittsburgh Steelers

Projected Starters: Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant, JuJu Smith-Schuster.

AB is the #2 WR in all of football. MB is easily a #1 WR on almost any team. Which means it doesn’t really matter who the third guy is as long as he knows how to catch a ball when he’s wide open. JuJu will have to battle with veterans Eli Rogers, Darius Heyward-Bay, Justin Hunter and Sammie Coates.. but I expect JuJu, the rookie to win the job. The Steelers have the best WR group heading into the 2017 NFL season.
