This weekend, NASCAR’s Monster Energy Cup Series race takes place at Dover International Speedway AKA the Monster Mile.

Here are my five picks to win you some cash this weekend…

*odds are according to Westgate Sportsbook

Sleeper Pick: Daniel Suarez (65:1)

The rookie is getting closer and closer to reaching Victory Lane, and Sunday’s Dover race very well could be the one he finally gets there. Suarez qualified third and has won an Xfinity series race at this track before. He’s finished in the top 12 in his last four races. Bet on No. 19 if you don’t feel like betting on a favorite.

Value Pick: Dale Earnhardt Jr. (60-1)

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has to get a W on his farewell tour at some point, right? Why not Dover? He had one of the fastest cars during this weekend’s practice and qualified in the 11th spot. There’s no reason to believe Dale Jr. won’t be racing near the front on Sunday.

My Pick: Matt Kenseth (10-1)

Kenseth has three career wins at Dover and will start Sunday’s race in the fourth spot. Don’t let his performance so far this season fool you. Kenseth is still among NASCAR’s elite drivers and should be considered a real threat to win this weekend.

Two Safest Picks:  Jimmie Johnson (6-1) & Kyle Busch (11-2)

Of course these guys are the two safest picks. Would you really expect anything else? Johnson is going for his 11th career win at Dover… as if the seven-time series champ needed another reason to be a favorite. As for Busch, he’s surprisingly still looking for his first win of 2017. He’s due, he’s mad, and he’s a favorite for Sunday.
