The starting lineups and pitchers for Monday night’s MLB All-Star game have been revealed.

First, here are the two starting hurlers.

Taking the hill for the American League is none other than the scissor-wielding strikeout machine Chris Sale. It’s his second consecutive year as the AL starter.

On the National League side, it’s Max Scherzer getting the starting nod. Scherzer has been unreal for Washington this season. Even more so than usual. His 2.10 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 173 strikeouts have him on pace to win his third career Cy Young award.

And now for the starting lineups.

For some reason, AL manager Brad Mills has Mookie Betts in the nine hole. OK then.

Other than that, no real qualms with these lineups. It should be a hell of a game Monday night.

Still…not as fun as a skills competition would be
