The playoff field is set, which means we’re in for one hell of a race at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday.
Here are my picks…
*odds are according to Westgate Sportsbook
Sleeper Pick: Ryan Newman (100/1)
Sure, lately Newman hasn’t enjoyed the success he once had, but he’s earned a victory at Chicagoland before and he very well could do it again. Don’t get your hopes up, but if you’re feeling lucky this is a fantastic play at highly rewarding odds.
Value Pick: Clint Bowyer (40/1)
Bowyer is another driver who has some nice career finishes at Chicagoland. He’s the best value available, but keep in mind even though he’s consistent, wins have been tough to come by.
Two Safest Picks: Kyle Busch (7/2) and Martin Truex Jr. (7/2)
You know the deal by now with these two…
My Pick: Kyle Busch
He was by far the fastest in practice this week and is on the pole. All signs point to Busch dominating.
