Four more races remain before we name the 2017 Monster Energy Cup Series champion. The field has been narrowed down to eight drivers, and Martinsville will be a tough task for all playoff contenders to separate themselves from the pack.

Here are my picks…

*odds are according to Westgate Sportsbook

Sleeper Pick: Kurt Busch (100/1)

This is insane value. 100/1 for a talented driver who has raced at Martinsville a trillion times in his career. If you’re looking for a big payout with the least risk involved, here’s your pick.

Value Pick: Ryan Blaney (40/1)

Blaney has looked great lately and is among the field of eight drivers left in the playoffs. He should be in the mix on Sunday barring something unlucky like a wreck or mechanical issues.

Two Safest Picks: Kyle Busch (3/1) and Brad Keselowski (9/2)

The two favorites are Busch, who typically OWNS Martinsville, and last week’s winner Keselowski. Looking to play it safe? Pick one of these guys.

My Pick: Jimmie Johnson (7/1)

This hasn’t been one of his best years, yet he’s still competing for his eighth championship. EIGHTH! Plus, he’s great at Martinsville (9 career wins). Johnson is my pick to earn the checkered flag there once again.
