Phoenix International Raceway is the final track before the playoff field shrinks to four drivers for the NASCAR championship race.

This is a huge race mainly for Denny Hamlin, Chase Elliot, Brad Keselowski, and Ryan Blaney as they fight for the chance to battle for a title next weekend.

Here are my picks…

*odds are according to Westgate Sportsbook

Sleeper Pick: Ryan Newman (100/1)

Newman won at Phoenix earlier this year, so that itself makes him a solid sleeper pick at 100/1.

Value Pick: Joey Logano (25/1)

Logano won last year’s fall Phoenix race and has three top 10 finishes in his last five races here. Despite a tough season for the No. 22 car, he’s a good value pick for Sunday.

Two Safest Picks: Kevin Harvick (3/1) & Kyle Busch (2/1)

Harvick (as we correctly predicted) won last weekend and is a favorite to repeat his efforts this time around. Busch has finished in the top five in all of his last four races at Phoenix, making him the favorite at 2/1.

My Pick: Denny Hamlin (8/1)

Hamlin hasn’t had a ton of success at Phoenix lately, but this is pretty much a must-win race for him. He’s right on the cusp of advancing to the championship race at Homestead. I think he’ll get the job done on Sunday.
